MetaleXtra Pigment Inkpads

ColorBox MetaleXtra is a premium quality acid free metallic pigment inkpad, offering eXtra features for stamping metallic inks:

• eXtra raised inking surface in a sturdy practical case

• eXtra precise imaging with acid free, archival quality formulation.

Safe water-based formula cleans up with soap and water. Different case style, base color and back label instructions distinguish these pads from our standard ColorBox metallic inkpads.

Burnt Copper and Platinum are rich additions to the traditional MetaleXtra color line.

The other three new colors shown here are "two-tone" metallics which provide a special and unique layered effect with a single application.

This special feature allows many interesting techniques. As the light interacts with these inks from different angles, images appear and disappear as if by magic. Layer these colors with simple embossing techniques to capture many mysterious moods.

These new inks are intentionally unblended to produce unique effects (a layered look of colour and metallic hues) for stamping and Direct-To-Paper techniques. The finished work looks very different, depending on light, paper type and ink intensity.
